Windows Operating
Systems
Many of you remember when the first modern version
of Microsoft Windows was released in 1995. Since then Microsoft
has released a new version of their operating system every few years.
With each revision, new features are added and old ones evolve.
It can be tricky keeping up with all of the changes.
Windows 7 brings a beautiful new graphical interface with features
like Aero and Snap as well as performance tweaks such as full 64-bit
support. Windows 8 is coming up next and will pack many of its own
new features. Many techies are looking forward to playing with the
new Metro interface that makes excellent use of touchscreen technologies.
Josh Glassberg will help shed some light on the various
challenges new software
presents.
Todays world is filled with personal computers. Computers
are quickly becoming integrated into lives of everyone from children
to grandparents. Josh Glassberg is an IT professional that would
like to share some of his tips and tricks. Josh has a bachelors
degree in Computer Information Systems
from SUNYIT and works for Capraro Technologies as a System Analyst.
Josh powered on his first computer when he was ten and has been
addicted ever since. Please feel free to bring questions.
