A great big thank you to The Gallery for lowering the price for printing our newsletters.

When the Board of Directors sat down to work out a budget for the year 2003, there was much discus-sion. Seems as if the fixed expenses were much more than the anticipated income. What to do? Raise the cost of dues? Cease production of the newsletter? Cry? Or all of the above.

Steve Teuchert—The Gallery’s owner—who happens to be a member, came to the rescue. He will print the newsletters for only $200 per month and this will allow the club to avoid raising dues and still be able provide attractive door prizes each month.

If you have need of printing services, please visit The Gallery at 4780 Commercial Dr, New Hartford. This would truly be "Members Helping Members".
If only we had more members like Steve.

In last month's President's Corner, Joe made a plea for a person to come forth to handle public relations for the club. We need to get the word out that we are here as MVPCUG seems to be the best kept secret in the Utica area. At the end of the November meeting Phil Lambert stepped forward and accepted the job as PR person. Welcome Phil to the growing list of members who help members.
If only we had more members like Phil.

I heard someone complain that they had to pay 25 cents for a cup of coffee at the last meeting. Did this person help set up the coffee, tables, or clean up afterward?

Oh yes, we definitely need more members like Steve and Phil !
